Missing Persons

Department of Homeland Security - Rescue efforts through the U. S. Coast Guard may be requested through this site.

Salvation Army Team Emergency Radio Network - offers a form where your inquiry will be sent to the disaster area, where SATERN personnel will attempt to locate the person or persons about whom you are inquiring.

U.S. Department of Justice - staffs a hotline to take reports of missing children, missing adults, and found children.

Red Cross Family News Network - locate family, friends and loved ones through the List. Also register yourself of a loved one.

National Next Of Kin Registry (NOKR) is a FREE high-speed solution to locating your Next Of Kin in urgent situations. NOKR is designed as an emergency contact system to help if you or your family member is missing, injured or deceased. NOKR is a free service to the public as well as the Local and State agencies using the search service.

Yahoo Missing Persons - Search for missing family friends and loved ones on this page which include cities in Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama plus universities and relief centers.

CNN Hurricane Katrina Safe List - posts the names of those who wish to let loved ones know they are all right after the storm.
